Quick answer. Coax in ANT IN, tuner set to Air not Cable, then a full auto scan. Rescan after you move the aerial.

Digital TV is empty until the set searches. A perfect antenna still shows black if you never scan.

MarketPalace Guide Center writes this as a solution walkthrough — the order we would use if we were in the room with you. We name the next click, then what to do if that click fails. We do not sell the TV, the kettle, or the plane ticket.

If a menu name on your set or phone does not match, use the closest wording and email hello@marketpalace.shop. We correct live pages when the path has moved.

What you need

  • Antenna on the coax / ANT port

1. Screw the antenna into ANT IN, not HDMI

HDMI is for sticks. The tuner is the coax socket.

2. Set tuner to Air / Antenna

Not Cable, unless you pay for cable.

3. Run Auto tuning and wait until 100%

Weak channels appear late.

4. Rotate an indoor antenna and scan again

Face a window toward the transmitter if you can.

If it still fails

  • A wall 'cable' jack is not an antenna.
  • HDMI 'antenna adapters' are a scam.

When you are done, browse more in TV & Living Room or search the Guide Center for the next job on your list. A neighbour problem — a remote, a bill, a suitcase — has its own walkthrough.
